Carla Gugino is an American actress who first starred in her 1989 film Troop Beverly Hills and is best known for her work as Ingrid Cortez in the Spy Kids trilogy from 2001 to 2003. He also played Jesse Burlingame in “Gerald’s Game”. ‘ in 2017. He is in the film industry from 1988 till date.

Carla was born on 29 August 1971 in Sarasota, Florida, United States, to Carl Gugino, an Italian orthodontist and an English-Irish mother who was described as “bohemian”. Her parents separated when she was 2 years old. She then moved back and forth between her father and half-brother Carl Jr.’s Sarasota home and later moved to Paradise, California, where her mother moved when she was 4. Carla Gugino then took acting classes from her suggested aunt, who is the former voice model of “Let’s Make a Deal”. She grew up legally till she was 16 and supported herself with the help of her parents.

Carla began her career working in television in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including films such as Good Morning, Miss Bliss, Who’s the Boss?, and many others. Gugino began her film career when she appeared in Shelley Long’s film Troop Beverly Hills, where she starred alongside her co-star Polly Shore in the 1993 romantic comedy Son-in-Law. She later appeared in the video for Bon Jovi’s song “Always”.
In 1995 she also appeared in the BBC mini-series The Buccaneers alongside Greg Wise and James Frain as Nan St George, an adaptation of Edith Wharton’s final novel. In mid-2012 she had a role as Susan Berg, an investigative reporter in Washington DC, in the USA Network miniseries Political Animals. In 2015 she also had a starring role in the disaster film San Andreas, in which she appeared again with Dwayne Johnson.
