Chris Woakes started playing cricket at the age of eight and was a member of ‘Aston Manor Cricket Club’. Eventually he became a member of the ‘Walmley Cricket Club’ in Sutton Coldfield, England. He was selected for the Warwickshire cricket team in 2006 and made his first-class debut against West Indies A in Birmingham, England.
