She broke up the following year when she played the role of Nala in the Broadway musical The Lion King. She starred in the musical Dreams Girl in 2001 with McDonald’s and Lillias White at an American Benefit concert. Headley performed a musical, Promise Promise, in 1968 from Hall David’s song I’ll Never Fall in Love Again.
