Kroy Berman’s Early Life
On September 12, 1985, Kroy Evan Berman was born in Hardin, Montana. He wrote letters eight times in Hardin High School, three times in football, three times in wrestling, and twice in track and field. His parents are Keith and Kathy, and his older sisters are Krista and Kelsey, so he hails from a family of K-names. In his Grizzly career, Berman played outside linebacker and defensive end.
In 52 games he played in Montana, he made 220 tackles, 32 sacks, 45 tackles for one loss, nine forced fumbles and seven fumbles recovered. During his freshman year, he appeared in 14 out of 15 games. He competed in all 12 sports during his sophomore year, 14 sports during his junior year, and 12 sports during his senior year. Berman, Montana’s first Buck Buchanan Award winner, earned the honor in 2007. The Atlanta Falcons drafted Berman 154th overall in their fifth-round draft of the 2008 NFL Draft.
Kroy Berman’s career
In Week 13 of his rookie season, Kroy Berman scored his first career NFL sack against the San Diego Chargers. The St. Louis Rams were the opponents against whom he recorded his second sack of the season. During the opening game of the 2009 season, he recorded two sacks, a forced fumble and a holding penalty. On November 2, 2009, in a Monday night game against New Orleans, he scored his first NFL touchdown. Drew Trees’ thunder was recovered by him.
He returned the ball to 41 yards for his second touchdown nearly a year later, delivering a pass from Jake Delhomme. He tore his Achilles tendon in September 2013 and missed the rest of the season. In March 2015, after having finished Achilles tendon surgery, Biermann agreed to sign a one-year $1.925 million contract. He was slated to be released by the Falcons in mid-August 2016 and signed with the Buffalo Bills to a one-year contract. After two weeks, the Bills released him.
The Buck Buchanan Award went to Croy Berman in 2007. That same year, he was named the Big Sky Conference’s Defensive Most Valuable Player. He was awarded twice to the First All-Big Sky Team and the Little All-American Team.

Berman met his future wife, Kim Zolciak, while performing at a Dancing Stars charity event in Atlanta in May 2010. The purpose of the charity event was to raise money for Alzheimer’s disease research. The Real Housewives of Atlanta third season featured their first encounter.
