Pat Carroll was born on May 5, 1927, in Shreveport, Louisiana, into a Roman Catholic family to Maurice Clifton Carroll and Catherine Angela – his father and mother, respectively. She later moved with her family to Los Angeles, where she began her acting career by working for local productions. It is known that she attended Catholic Girls’ School, Immaculate Heart High School. He then attended Immaculate College in Los Angeles and the Catholic University of America, Washington DC. There is not much information available about his education.

He began acting in 1947 with the play “The Goose and the Ganter” and opened doors to other roles. She got her first role in the film Hometown Girl, just a year after she made her stage debut in 1948. Soon he was getting regular roles in shows like Make Room for Daddy (1961–1964). In 1956, she appeared to critical acclaim as the wife of Howard Morris in the American sketch comedy series Caesar Hour. She also played an evil half-sister, Prunella and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, in Rodgers in 1965. The last film she appeared in was BFFs in 2014, in which she played Joan, and the last drama she starred in was Our Town (2002). The list of television series and stage plays in which she participated is very long.
