After receiving the award, Shahadi Wright Joseph was excited about the prospect of another Academy Award nomination. However, after the Oscar winning announcement, Shahadi Wright Joseph became confused as to what she would do next. She was simply happy to have captured the role of Nala. The confusion soon turned to anger as the press release of her victory made it clear that Shahadi would not be nominated for Best Actress in the Best Actress category for her role in The Lion King. Although the press release stated that Shahadi was not being deterred from playing the role of Nala, Joseph didn’t feel great about it. She claimed that she was only busy reading the script of the upcoming film and was trying to figure out how to get past the scene where she is shot by a lion in the film.

The role of Nala will also present a bit of difficulty for Shahadi Wright Joseph. As it turns out, Shahadi is a lot like the Lion King, in that he weighs significantly more. When he is on screen, he tries to gulp down a few cups of coffee from another actor. This is something that other actors might have found amusing at one point in time, but not since Shahadi was announced as the new prince. The weight issue may come up as yet another character trying to be eligible for the role of the new King of England. However, Shahadi can only blame Hollywood producers who are so desperate to make an American film.

The Lion King is scheduled to release some late spring or early summer 2021, so we should keep our eyes peeled for any updates regarding Shadi’s role in the project. He will surely be making a name for himself in the acting community. At such a young age, he is sure to become a big star in the coming years. It will be exciting to see what kind of roles he plays after his amazing turn as the King of the Lions in The Lion King, as well as what roles he plays in other films to come.
