In 2000, he published his first album with bandmate Landel Malavé. El Sobreviviente, his first solo album, was released in 2004. Wisin released his second solo studio album, El regreso del sobreviente, ten years later in 2014. Wisin is currently on tour with Prince Royce as part of his Power & Love project. Wisin and Yandel first met at school. In the late 1990s, they became close friends and began performing as a duo.
They eventually released their debut album, Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio, in 2000.
